Rained Out
Today was opening day for The Girl but the remnants of Tropical Storm Erin rained out her soccer game and just about every other outside activity. I’m sure that it will be rescheduled, but for now, it’s another week of practice for her and her teammates without anyone to compete against but themselves. She’s had games postponed before but this is the first time that the first game of the season hasn’t been played as scheduled. Obviously, the weather was too bad to play, but, it was disappointing to not play after focusing on this one game all summer. It’s been a long time since she stepped onto the field for real and now she’ll have to wait just a bit longer.
