Sometimes The Bear Gets You… Almost
The week ended just as it began with me coming home and finding out that we were having server problems again. We go months and months without any downtime then we have all sorts of strange issues. Everything seems to be running OK now (knocks on wood) but I never did discover the root cause of the crash on Friday. As I often say “Sometimes you get the bear. Sometimes the bear gets you.” This was one of the weeks where I felt like I was running just out of the grasp of the bear. Thankfully, my week wasn’t all work and no play. California Girl was around and she is great at helping me relax and unwind when I have had a bad day.
Valerie mentioned in the side bar that “[we] seem to have such a neat/orderly house! You must have the only two teens not in the “drop it/slop it wherever” stage!!” That is definitely not the case. The living room, family room and home theater are fairly clean but the kid’s bedrooms ad their study are disaster areas. Here’s a pictures of California Girl in their study that I took last weekend. You can see how messy it is in the background.
It’s wasn’t the best pool weather today but we still got in it all the same. Its so relaxing, its makes all of the problems of the past weeks seem very far away.
It’s been a good weekend so for. We hope that yours is going well too.

Someday I’ll have a pool to relax in… In the mean time I’ll have to enjoy the pics you post of CG in the pool

CG looks so relaxed in the pool. I can see why you would want to get in the pool so often, the water is so inviting plus CG looks great in a bikini.

Jen: I don’t know what I would do without California Girl. Or kids are way more messy that I was; my parents made us clean up or else. At least the study the adults use is MUCH neater. A pool is like a motorcycle, it’s a summertime hobby that you have to approach as being just for fun.
My Girlfriend is Hot: Thanks the weekend has been flab so far.
Ms SD: It was a bit overcast; but it was still near 90-degrees (32°C). The pool is the place for weekend relaxation. I just wish our weekday evenings weren’t so busy.
Who can look at the background when a beautiful woman is in the foreground??.
With a beauty like that around, it is no wonder you never get around to cleaning the mess.
Richard: It’s good California Girl is a great distraction; the rest of room looks like a tornado hit it.
Grizzly Bear: It’s their study so it’s up to the kids to clean if they want to get their allowance.
