The Water is Clear
After adding over $100 of various chemicals and periodically backwashing for 4 days, the water in the pool is finally clear. The chlorine is still much too high for anyone to get in; but now it at least looks like a swimming pool. And, I know there is no correlation; but I am feeling better too. My wasp sting has healed and my arm isn’t bothering me as much as it has been. I’m actually typing a post rather than trying to avoid using the keyboard. I try very hard not to let “things” frustrate me; but when things are unsettled at the house, either with the people or with the things that we do use to have a good time together it bothers me.
This week is a very busy one for us; but I am not nearly as frazzled as last week despite it being so hectic. We’ve been on the “summer schedule” in the mornings. And we were able to have regularly scheduled Tuesday evening photo session. Our photographs aren’t always as imaginative as they could be; but taking the pictures is very relaxing. Taking pictures and making movies always cheers us up no matter how the pictures turn out. It helps us leave the world behind and enjoy ourselves. Editing the pictures for posting can be a chore sometimes; but we really like looking at our private photo album with unburned pictures. You can really see our connection in those pictures. California Girl is a great person to be around.
