1,000,000 Visitors
Married In Ohio went over 1,000,000 visitors sometime today. It probably would have happened on Thursday of last week if the site had not been down while we were on vacation. We don’t look upon it so much an indicator of popularity as much as an indicator of longevity. A lot of blogs have come and gone in the in the two years and two months that we have been blogging. Thanks to every one who visits. And special thanks to those of you who leave comments; especially if you are one of the people who visited here when we first got started. We’re glad that you find us interesting enough to keep coming back.
P.S. If you can remember, leave us a comment and let us know when you first started reading our blog.

I know it’s been a year or so, but don’t remember exactly when I started reading. A friend passed your site along….congrats on the milestone!

Hey dude, congrats from me as well on you and your lady reaching this significant blogging milestone. As to when I started commenting here, well I too don’t remember exactly but it was quite a few months ago and before you two had lunch with a mutual blog friend of ours from the past and before we had exchanged a few emails concerning a rough personal issue that you were experiencing at the time. Rememberings… Now off you go towards vistor # 2 million!

I know it was in 2005 but I have no idea exactly when or how I even found your blog. I do now it was one of the very first we ever read and probably the one that most inspired us to start one of our own.
We hope you will continue to be one of our daily reads for many years to come.

Hi MCB and CG, I am not sure when I found you but I know I randomly stumbled upon you guys and found your blog to be fascinating and enjoyable as you seem like such a wonderful loving couple. I know I have been reading for a long time but i cannot tell you how long. I am so glad you enjoyed Disney World again. My husband and I are big Disney lovers. The Polynesian is our favorite hotel and it is great just to relax in the hotel after enjoying a park. The character meals are the best for photos. I also know what you mean about bottling the time. The contentment in just being together and appreciating each day. With each passing day we appreciate our life together even more as I am sure both of you do. You seem to really have something special in your family and i have a feeling that your son will still want to vacation with you even when he is in college. Many don’t but I am guessing for you guys he will.
I will stumble upon a blog and read for awhile but most don’t hold the attention the way yours does and i believe it is because of the realism to your blog. You seem like the people next door, or the guy in the office and yet you are so amazingly special and unique that I always wonder what you are up to.
As always i wish you only the best and I remain your interested reader.

I was a pretty early reader. Probably not in the first month but surely within the first few months. I had seen your comments either at Ed’s or at Stuck’s and of course was intrigued by the state listed in your title. Happy MANY visitors, from one who never got started.

Congratulations. A well-deserved tribute. Emm and I found you when we were looking for “happy to be married” blogs. And we are so glad we did!

Wow, 1,000,000 hits! I hope TW and I last that long! Congrats!
As for when I began reading, it had to be about a year ago. It’s been fun ever since. Congrats again!

Congrats on the one millionth hit. I started reading last wednesday. Forgot how I stumbled upon your blog. Thanks for having your blog and showing all of the other blogs you read. It makes an 8 hour day sitting at a PC enjoyable!

I’ve been hanging around here for a little over 2 years. I think that I found you through “Sarcastic Kitty” or maybe it was from a comment that you left. Glad you are still around!

Hey! Been reading for about 6 months. I am also in Ohio…very close to you I think. As a matter of fact, I would almost swear I saw the two of you in a local store last night! Your secret’s safe with me, but if you want to email me, I’d love to know if it was really you.

Michelle: Thank you. We know when we get a new commenter; but we don’t have any idea when they first started reading. So, it’s good to know what people know, and what they don’t because hasn’t been mentioned since they started reading.
Rob: Thanks. That was a while ago now; at least a year. Things are going MUCH better. I daresay even better than I had hoped. I’m glad that I took your advice and weighed my options carefully. Sometimes, you never know. We’re not thinking about 2 million visitors,
Ms SD: You are one of our earliest visitors who is still around. I’m glad that we are one of your daily reads. It’s good to know that, after two years, you still find us interesting.
Interested Reader: We really hope our son still wants to come on vacation with us when he is in college. And you are right, it’s things besides the parks that make Disney World such a wonderful vacation spot. We may be the people next door or the guy in the next office over; but we do share a side of ourselves that most people don’t. Some like the peek into our lives; but it makes others uncomfortable. We’re glad that enjoy our posts.
Rosie: We’re glad that you are still around too. You are one of the few people who go back to the early days (2005). You really should start a blog some day. I’m sure you have lots to say.
G-Rod & Toni: We NEVER blog from work. But, we thing it’s OK to interact with others in the blogging community from privacy of our own home. We try to strike a balance. Life is too short. Thanks for trusting us. We appreciate that you feel safe to de-lurk on our site.
Alfie: Thank you. And we are still happily married. Sadly, a number of happy to be together blogs that we followed over the years ended when the authors’ relationship went sour.
MrManicDepressive: We’re been very fortunate. To be honest, we are amazed, that we’ve had the number of visitors that we have. Especially since we don’t advertise or do anything to increase our traffic. Most people who come here were referred by others which is the greatest tribute.
Matt: Glad that we can help gets you though the day. It’s good to know that people enjoy what we do.
Chickie: You are our oldest visitor, going back to almost our earliest days. We’re god that YOU still stop by.
Chrissy: You’ve got mail.
Dirty Debbie: Thanks. We enjoy stopping by your site as well. You certainly have some interesting stores (both fantasies and real) to tell.
