Do you have any suggestions for picking the right picnic table? Richard: A good time was had by all. About the only thing we might do differently the next time would be to take a blanket. The Poob Groomer: Thanks. We were interrupted by a couple who decided to go down to the river and skip stones/watch the sunset. We didn't know it at the time; but the location we selected was right next to the footpath that people take to the river. We don't listen for footsteps as much as voices. When you're surrounded by nature, the noise that people make seems very out of place. So you just listen for sounds then seem unnatural. Someone who walked very quietly would have gotten quite a surprise! Michelle: It appealed to our sense of adventure. The next time that it rains, it would be a great place to go and wait out the storm. It was (semi-spontaneous) fun. Just like old times. Hot Husband: She was really starting to get into it.
