A Good Start to the Weekend
When Midwestern City Boy came home from work, he surprised me with flowers and an anniversary card. Our anniversary isn’t until Sunday, but he wrote in the card that he wanted to start the weekend on a good note.
This surprise was especiallywelcome after a long, frazzling week of power interruptions and other assorted frustrating stuff. I know that I don’t tell Midwestern City Boy often enough how much I appreciate his thoughtfulness… so here’s a post to say I LOVE YOU… and happy early anniversary too!

And happy early anniversary from me to you both as well. So lovely to see you posting. You should do so more often as I feel that your views would be most interesting to read along side that if your husband.
Happy Anniversary.
It seems redundant to say ‘Happy’ Anniversary to you both. (Because you are the ‘picture’ of happiness.)
But do hope you have a WARM weekend. (I’m so chilly.)
Yes, a definite Happy Anniversary to you both!
And a hearty “It’s great to see a post from CG” to you, as well!
Happy Anniversary
The Happiest Anniversary to you both. Is this 23 years or which anniversary is it.
I hope you will do a pool photo soon and hope our warm breezes reach you!
As always wishing you the very best of love and happiness and good health.
Happy anniversary from Emm and me. Here’s to many, many more!
Happy Anniversary to both of you!
Oh that’s a good man, but I’m sure you already know that.
It’s always wonderful to you what the two of you do for each other.
I’ve said it before, but you can always see plenty of love here.
Keep enjoying each other.
Thanks to everyone who commented — it’s much appreciated! Interested Reader, this is our 19th anniversary.
Midwestern City Boy also gave me anniversary cards on Saturday and Sunday, a card for each day of the weekend — kind of like the 12 days of Christmas, but more fun than a partridge in a pear tree.
Dirty Debbie — yes, I know I’ve got a good man here!
Happy Anniversary! How sweet!
I know I’ve said it before but you two are a complete inspiration of what can be with hard work and love. I think its so important for those of us just getting into adulthood to see that it IS possible to have a happy marriage. Happy belated anniversary!
