Spring Break
No, we don’t get one. But the kids do. It’s been quite nice have a sneak peek at summer and not to have to be in such a hurry in the morning. And, since the kids don’t have to wake up in the morning, we don’t have to worry about going to bed in the evening as early as we usually do. We’ve been using the extra time in the evenings for some serendipitous sex which, unfortunately, is rarer than it should be for us. It’s been great being able to steal away for some quiet time in the early evening and not be concerned about preparing dinner, supervising homework, etc. It’s not as good as being on vacation, but it’s much more restful than a typical school night. We may still have to go to work but we’re enjoying the break almost as much as the kids are. Sex is definitely out most preferred recreational activity. Do you have another favorite activity when you have “extra” time or is sex at the top of the list?
