Happy Easter
This weekend has flown by; but, before it is over, I wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a happy Easter. Unlike this time last year when spring was in the air and the flowers were starting to bloom, it’s been cold and blustery outside. Still, the arrival of Easter symbolizes the rebirth of things even if you are not religious. The days are getting longer. The grass in starting to grow after being dormant for so long. High school and college students are going on their spring break. And we’re heading into the home stretch before the glorious days of summer.
We went to my mom’s house and had a sumptuous dinner that will take days to run off. We hope you enjoyed your day as well. If you’re returning from spring break I hope you had fun. If you are starting spring break, have some fun for us. We’re looking forward to a great year. We hope that you are too.

Happy Easter to you both! We are enjoying what will probably be the last few warm days for a while. It is starting to get colder and darker earlier, but at least the cooler weather brings more snuggling.

Had the same type of dinner at my mothers. Arent they always wonderful.
Happy Easter to you all. Judging from your previous post, you are already having a great weekend. The weather here has been wonderful. It’s not often that southern UK is warmer than places in the Mediterranean but this time it was.
Happy Easter from us too. Had a great time at my dinner on Sat night. My two un-fulfilled fantasies are something you two do regularly.

Charlotte made it to the mid 60′s Sunday.
IT was something this week-end, cold AND snow. I went on a downtown walking tour on Sat. and wore long thermals – top and bottom. Brrrrr!!!! But it was great you have a good week-end in spite of the chill.
Ms SD: Its weird being in opposite hemispheres. We’re hopping for warm weather to start at the same time that you’re trying to hang on to the last days of summer.
Kitty: I finally don’t feel full anymore. I know I ate way too much on Sunday. But that’s what is so good about dinner at mom’s house.
Lapis Ruber: Easter is a family holiday for us. California Girl and I don’t get spring break like the kids do, bit we still really enjoy the weekend. We want some of the warm weather that you have been having. I’ve got a fire going in the fire place right now.
Carolina Jim & Wife: Happy Easter to you too. We had a god time on Saturday as well. We hope to see 60-degree temperatures again someday.
BTW: California Girl is an excellent cowgirl
Rosie: We only had a good weekend because we were inside. I am so glad that soccer season hasn’t started yet. I went running outside on Sunday since the gym was closed for Easter and it was COLD.
