Hard Work Pays Off

The Boy and his teammates brought home some more hardware from the wrestling meet today. It’s been a very good season for them and everyone is sad to see to drawing to a close. Before the season started, everyone though that it would be one of those special seasons that are as much good fortune as planning and preparation; and it’s turned out just as we had hoped. I don’t know what may happen his senior year; but for now, this season is the memory of his high school athletic career.

We (the parents) expected them to do well but it is still very gratifying to be there while it is happening. Sometimes, all the ingredients are therebut everything doesn’t quite fall into place. This time, it did. We are all proud of our sons and what they have accomplished. The only regret is that it can’t last forever.Congratulations to the 2006/2007 wrestling team.

I can tell you are very proud of him.

Kitty: He’s not the best athlete on the team. But he’s probably the hardest worker. And I think that’s what I like the best.
