Two For Tuesday – 71
For as long as we’ve know each other, we’ve never let California Girl’s periods slow us down. She’s on her period now but that just means we do things a bit differently. In fact, we posted recently that we have used the same towels to protect the bed during sex when California Girl is on her period for nearly 24 years. So, we though that it would be fitting to feature them in a post. Despite being “used” once a month for a long time, the towels are still in amazingly good shape and they were old when we first met. The pictures are not gross/graphic but they do show us putting the towels to use. In case you were wondering, the brown one was originally California Girl’s and the gray one was originally mine.

Emm was always a tad reluctant – unless we were both desperate, which we would be after a couple of days. Otherwise it was an opportunity to try something different – coming off between her boobs or buttocks perhaps. Emm’s happily postmenapausal now but, d’you know what? I sort of miss the challenge.
I’m waiting for postmenopausal to arrive. The thought of the possibility of another 20 years is not nice.
We used to put plastic under the towel, just in case things got abnormally wet.
Alfie: Humans are surface washable. And when you really think about the way human physiology works, blood is nothing. To a woman, Sperm are foreign bodies and think how far they go. Besides, since you have to clean up afterwards no matter what; you may as well do whatever you want.
Kitty: We’re not in a hurry for post menopausal. We’ve been doing it this way for so long it’s just as natural as anything else. Sex is kind of gross anyway if you over analyze it. So sex during a woman’s period really isn’t any different.
Richard: The towels have served us well but there have occasionally been accidents over the years that required washing the bed linens; and, occasionally the mattress itself.
