A Quick Question
I know that this is completely unscientific but, after yesterday’s post, I was wondering how the ladies out there in blogland trim their pubic hair. Do you keep it full and natural? Very short to non-existent? Or somewhere in between? As you can tell from our photographs, California Girl is in the short to non-existent category. Kind of like the hair on my head so I guess that makes us a matched set.
I know that we guys have it easy but I have always appreciated girls that look/smell/feel like girls. I’ve also though that it was interesting that we spend so much time grooming areas that most of the world never sees (unless you let it all hang out on your blog). For some reason, it seems a bit naughty the way we prep ourselves for after-hours encounters. And, in my opinion, naughty is good.

My wife keeps everything south of the mons smooth. The rest she keeps neatly trimmed and bikini-safe.
She doesn’t like the pre-pubescent-12-year-old look that completely smooth gives her, but I’m a MASSIVE fan of going down on smooth labia.
This way, we get the best of all worlds: she gets to see an adult woman nekkid in the mirror and I’m not stopping to pick the stray pube out of my teeth when I’ve got much more important matters to focus on.
I keep it smooth shaved lately, husband likes it best that way and I aim to please! But if I don’t have time or energy for that I try to at least keep it trimmed.
Towards the end of last year Emm started shaving completely (every other day) using an electric razor designed for the job. She’d shaved before, years ago, using soap and a safety razor. In a month or two I’ll probably ask her to let it grow again, just for a change. Although she’ll probably do so anyway if ahe’s due for an annual smear-test.
I keep mine pretty closely trimmed, but still there. I have ingrown hair problems if I shave completely. I’d love to be able to afford laser hair removal…I would probably leave a “landing strip” of hair so I didn’t look like a teenage girl, but I’d like the rest smooth. With that said, I really like when my hubby trims his close or shaves it off….mmmmm!
PIrate: I think that very short hair is good too for avoid the loose hairs problem. But I will say that with today’s swimwear that there’s not a lot of area on the top left for hair. Thank goodness we have better razors and trimmers these days than we used to.
Dirty Filthy Princess: I make a resolution every year to go down on California Girl every time she trims her pubic hair. I’m not 100% successful but knowing you’re going to get a mustache ride does make trimming not seem like so much of a chore.
Alfie: What difference does her annual smear test make? Pubic hair isn’t in the way for that anyway.
Michelle: I’m prone to ingrown hair on my beard so I know exactly what you mean. I can see laser hair removal someday becoming de rigor for both men and women. It seems women are concerned about looking like a teenage girl but I assure you that we guys can tell the difference.
I know that this was completely unscientific. But it seems that that no body is “natural” these days. I guess hour/shaved is the new natural.
