Not Ready Yet
The Boy got sick after school on Monday and was too sick to join us for dinner. Since we almost always eat together, especially when we are at home, California Girl, The Girl and I were struck by how strange the dinning room appeared with only three of the four places occupied. We all knew he was just upstairs, and that him being too sick to eat was a rare occurrence; but it made us think about what life would be like after he goes away to school. The days that we though would last forever are almost over. And none of us are ready for them.
Hope boy gets to feeling better!
My boy came home yesterday from school feeling a little ill, went to bed at 7:15. He came home today, and said he was too sick to go to basketball tonight, so now I know he’s ill. He would miss anything but basketball!
Kitty: He seems to be feeling much better today. And hes very hungry after not eating anything while he was sick and couldn’t keep it down. I hate seeing the kids are sick. I would much rather be sick myself.
