Two For Tuesday – 67
We took an extra day off for our Christmas vacation but it still doesn’t make the thought of going back to work any more palatable. We would much rather still be on vacation. Plus the weather outside has been very mild for January in Ohio. Check out the Local Weather over on the sidebar. We both like what we do; but neither of us is ready for five straight months without a day off. So, our theme for today is “we don’t want to go back to work”. We would much rather be home. Sometimes, nothing beats staying in bed.
We wish we could stay in bed forever.
We can always find things to do.
We hope everyone is having an easier time going back to work than we are.
I still have another 11 days until I have to go back to work but Mr SD was straight back into it after New Years Day. We normally take our holidays together but this year it didnt work out that way. I never like going back after a long break.

Work? I like work, I could sit and watch it all day. (Jerome K. Jerome’s comment, not mine). But Emm and I are retired and at least don’t have that interruption to our love-life to contend with. Anyway, make the best use of your free time, you two. And share it with us as often as poss.

Ms SD: The shorter than usual weak has made things a bit better; but going back to work has only magnified how much we like being on vacation. Plus I had to work when vacation first started so we didn’t get as much time off as we usually do. I can’t wait until summer (which is when we’ll next be on vacation).
Alfie: I don’t necessarily need to be retied but I long for an uncomplicated 9 to 5 job. These days I usually work much more than 8 hours a day plus do things on weekends. So a week where I do nothing is GREAT. Sometimes life gets in the way but we try to post, (and do postable things) regularly.
Kelly: I like the first picture too. I could stay like that forever.
