Married In Ohio

As I mentioned in the shoutbox, the whistle has finally blown and I am done for the year! I had to finish up work on a major project before I could start my vacation. I only missed a day and a half of actual vacation; but, I “lost” 4 days since I worked most of the weekend too. But that’s enough about work; I’m on Christmas vacation now!

We missed our opportunity to be home alone during the day, but we have the memory of the Saturday before last. We’ve been with each other for a long time, but we enjoy having the house to ourselves as much as any newlywed couple. And our holidays together are always good days.

The Boy and his teammates brought home some iron from their wrestling meet this weekend. It was good to take some pictures of everyone around a team trophy instead of just a few individual champions. Wrestling is mostly an individual sport so team awards are nice.

The Girl is lobbying for an iPod Nano for Christmas, even though she already has an MP3player. I don’t believe in replacing perfectly good items with the next big thing so she won’t be getting one. But they are nice.

California Girl and I have not yet finished our Christmas shopping. Except for the diamond ring I got her last year we don’t usually give typical gifts, so we don’t feel the pressure to shop early. I’m not sure if I can afford it but I’ve got a fabulous gift picked out for California Girl.

I haven’t been around blogland much but I plan to stop by and visit everyone soon. And I should finally have the time tomorrow to edit the photos for a new photo post that I have been working on. It’s a “remake” of Christmas Vacation Sex. For us, remakes are just as good as the first time. And, and, and, I may actually get to the two for Tuesday post before midnight. Being on vacation is great.
