Spring Forward, Fall Back
California Girl’s wrist watch is broken. I know it’s just a thing but we’ve had matching watches for so long that it’s almost like seeing her without one of her more significant pieces of jewelry like her wedding ring. I looked all over town and couldn’t find a battery the right size. It may just be the battery, but I can’t tell until a new one arrives. A lot of people probably think that we have to many his and hers items; but we like it that way. After all, isn’t a relationship his and hers? Discovering that California Girl’s watch was broken was not the way I wanted to start the week. Especially since it’s the beginning of Eastern Standard Time; and, I always have a hard time adjusting to the time change. I really hope that this week goes by quickly.

Sorry to hear about the broken wrist. Hopefully it is not the wrist that she uses most.
We started daylight saving time here this week too, it is always hard to adjust to it being light so late.
Hope there is nothing more wrong with the watch than the battery, I like your matching accessories.
Ms SD
Richard: California Girl doesn’t have a broken wrist, she has a broken wristWATCH. That’s not nearly as bad. Alls it takes is money and you can have something be better than before.
Ms SD: I thought daylight savings time was an American creation. I know other areas of the world did it too but I didn’t think that they were as fixated on it as we are. I still can’t figure out how it’s supposed to save energy.
That’s stinks about the watch.
The time change snuck up on me. I almost went to work an hour early!
Chickie: With me it works the other way around. I’m so aware of the time change that it messes up my sleep.
