We were already planning on a Halloween themed HNT post when Os made it official and requested that everyone do a Halloween theme. Halloween is always a fun holiday for us since we always dress in costume and go to some interesting parties. We’re a ways a (semi) matched set. This year, California Girl is Ancient Greek lady and I am an Ancient Greek soldier. I could not find my sword, but, if you look closely, you can see my spear.

I asked this question last year and got some great responses so I’ll pose it again now. Do you think that California Girl and I wearing matching costumes is too corny? Do you and your SO coordinate or dress individually when you go to themed parties?

Can’t answer your question as have only dressed up for a Greek dinner so do have a nice sheet/toga somewhere (even though I am an interesting character.) Will say however, that the two of you look wonderful.
I like the way you two coordinate! Now I have to ask..where are you wearing the costumes this year? (see I remember where you went last year!)
I don’t think the matching costumes are corny at all! I’ve never done Halloween dress up with someone but I’d want to match. Happy HNT!
Not corny at all. It actually adds a “togetherness” at the halloween party.
Be careful that you don’t get any stains on the costumes before the party.

We dont celebrate halloween in Australia so we dont get to dress up, but I think we would do matching if we did. Great costumes! Happy Halloween and Happy HNT

Regal: We always go out on the Saturday before Halloween but it’s good to preview our costumes.

Kelly: No place so interesting this year. We’ve been so busy this year that we just want some time to ourselves. But I hear they have a great New Year’s Eve party there. And I have to admit, these costumes would have been perfect.
Chickie: You have to do a Halloween dress up some time. It’s great fun. A lot of people dressed up where we went even though the temperature was only in the low 40s
Richard: They are just for fun but we do try and be pretty careful with them. They survived the weekend in good shape so we should be able to wear them again sometime.

Ms SD: I’m sorry that you don’t have a similar holiday. Halloween is great fun. We always dress up for the occasion and each year we get new costumes.
