A Change Of Seasons
We took California Girl’s new diaphragm for a test drive this morning. I can’t tell the difference but she says it feels more flexible. I just hope it works as well as the last one. It’s the same kind; but you never know. It took a few days because the pharmacy had to order it. I’ve always though that it was weird that you need a prescription for a diaphragm but not for most other non-hormonal methods of birth control. Especially for as often as such things are used.
The Boy had his final cross country meet of the season today. He just missed advancing to the regional tournament. I think he did very well considering that cross country is his “second sport”. The Girl has also had her last soccer game so the fall sports season is over for both kids. I have been impressed by how hard they have worked at their respective sports. I don’t know how much is natural talent and how much is hard work. It’s getting cold outside so I’m glad they’re moving to inside activities; but I will miss intensity at which they train and compete in their outdoor sports.
For what seems like the first time in what seems like ages, California Girl and I have a chance to go out to a club on Saturday night. It’s been so long I’m not even sure I’ll remember what to do. A lot has been going on in real life recently so I will be glad for the opportunity to forget about life for a while. We haven’t been posting as frequently as we typically do for that reason. I know I will be very glad when life gets back to “normal”. Have a great weekend everyone.
P.S. Thanks for the birthday wishes.

Do you guys name the diaphram?
Yeah you went out last night! What type of club did you go to? Did you enjoy yourselves?
Just discovered your blog recently. You seem to have a wonderful relationship. Can’t wait to read more
How about a close up picture of cg getting the new diaphragm ready and you puting it in. That would be a great shot for tuesday night.. Let your friends meet and greet the new diaphragm.. Thanks
Hope you had a great time on Saturday night. I understand what you mean about life being busy. Mr SD and I went out for dinner alone last weekend for the first time in months, it was wonderful.
Ms SD
I always enjoy breaking in a virgin diaphragm myself. I had a very sexy way if disposing of the old one and it drove him wild. After nearly twenty years with the “Rubber Biscut” as we call it he is still in-charge of insertion and most removals.
Here’s hoping ‘normal’ returns to – well normal for the two of you.
Chickie: We call it “the primitive device” since it is such an archaic device bit it doesn’t have a given name.
Kelly: Something came up at the last minute so we didn’t get out after all. But it does seem like things are getting back to normal.
Boyfriend: Thank you for the compliment. We are glad that you like our blog.
DDoyle: We have already got our theme picked out for this week but that’s a great idea for a future post.
Ms SD: The fall is the busiest time for us. Winter is not so busy but it’s not as much fun to go out when it’s cold; especially if we have to stand in line. And there have been howling winds outside of late.
Wendy: I must admit that I never though about getting involved with insertion and removals. It’s been it’s been our “friend” for a long time and I’m very accustomed to it but I think I would be worried that I wouldn’t out I in properly and we’d have an accident.
Rosie: Thank you. Today seemed to be a more normal day.
