Too Wet To Go Out, Too Cold To Play Ball
Unfortunately it was neither of those things tonight. I know now that they play soccer in monsoons. It was pouring rain (but no lighting) so The Girl’s team played their game today. I’ve been home for quite a while and I still feel soggy. And I had a rain coat on. All the girls had were their uniforms. I’m sure they were miserable being out in the rain and cold for so long. At half time, many parents went to warm up/dry out in their cars. I stayed out in the rain pacing up and down in front of the stands trying to keep my circulation going. It’s hard to believe that California Girl and I were in the pool yesterday. I don’t think I’ll feel like being immersed in water any time soon. The only question is whether or not I’m warmed up enough for sex.

Oh you are warmed up enough!
If not it will warm you!
Same weather here today – and tomorrow a high of 52..brrrr
I fell asleep while I was trying to warm my self up. That’s probably a first.
I don’t mind the transition for summer to fall when it doesn’t rain.
We have had our hottest September day in 19 years, while you are in the rain. It seems such a short time ago that we were starting winter and your pool season had just opened.
Ms SD
Ms SD: The pool is still open but I doubt very much that we will get in it for the rest of the year. The kids are so busy with practice and games that Sunday is the only day we have time and the weather may or may not co-operate. It’s kind of sad closing the pool for the season; but even when we were in it last Sunday, the sun wasn’t very high in the sky. Where did the burning days of summer go?
