500,000 Visitors
Married In Ohio went over 500,000 visitors yesterday just before midnight! Wow is all we can say. It was just last November that we hit 100,000 visitors. When we got started last year we had no idea our blog would be remotely this popular. The Internet sure makes the world a smaller place. Thanks to every one for stopping by. And special thanks to those of you who leave comments. It’s been a great 16 months here.
We were on Blogger for 2 months before decided we liked blogging enough to get our own domain. A great big hug to you if you’re one of the people who read us back then. (You know who you are.) That seems like ages ago now.

Wahooo, So many visitors. Congratulations on such a record. My mind is a fog. Was I reading when you started? Not sure, but it wasn’t too long since I was intrigued by the blog title
so how do we celebrate such a joyous occation?
new vid?
Congrats…and I’m not even sure how I found you, but I am glad I did.
Enjoy the next half million.
If you write it….they will cum!
LOL
Congrats on the achievement. I cant remember when I started reading but I know it was back in the blogger days. Mr SD and I really enjoy your writing and we hope you continue for many years to come.
Ms SD
Dear MCB and CG
A big congratulatory HUG to both of you. I think you have hit 500,000 because you truly are unique out there in blog land. You have raciness with a human love story entertwined all throughout which makes you guys both so very special. I have always said I think most of us have that secret side that others would be surprised by and I like that you have said most all who know you see you as this conservative couple and we, your internet friends, see the MAGICAL couple you are and know how special your love is and YOU have a love for the ages that only a few of us really ever experience. I also like that you guys talk about love does take work you don’t have that magic by accident. So many people just don’t get it. Smiles and hugs to you both!
*WAVING* I’m one of the ones from way back when!!
I also think I may be the only one who reads your blog who DOESN’T come here for the pics. I think ya’ll are wonderful people, and I love to see “what’s up.”
Love ya’ll! … and congrats!
Oh…and sorry about any emails from “insane” people that you may have gotten recently.
See..I told you!! LOL
WoooooHOOOOOO!!! Way to go ya’ll!!
Congrats on half a million hits! Couldn’t happen to a nicer couple.
Exile: We’re planning on doing something to celebrate the one year anniversary of our participation in HNT next Thursday. We haven’t though of anything good yet so any/all ideas are welcome.
DirtyDebbie: Thanks. It souls like a lot more when you call it a half million.
Sexy Duet: The Blogger days were a long time ago in blogland time. I haven’t written as much about California Girl lately but we are still “having fun”. Its great having a wife that you can share so many things with.
Interested Reader: I think that a lot of people have a side that they keep to themselves; but that there are any others who are just as conservative as they appear. I think that relationships take work; especially when things aren’t going well in other areas. But things go much better when everything is going good it’s easy for some people to think that’s all they should ever have to do. I hope California Girl and I are still together many years from now but we both expect some “bumps” along the way.
Bex: I think you may be our oldest visitor. I know you are oar oldest commenter. I am very glad that you are still around in blog land. A lot of people have come and gone since those days. Don’t worry about the emails. We don’t pay things like that any attention.
Jessica: Welcome back to the world. We didn’t start blogging until we got broadband. It’s hard to believe that we survived with dial up. We’re NEVER going back to dial up.
MrManicDepressive: Thanks. That’s a LOT of people to have seen is nekkid.
You both sure are popular
Chickie: That is way more people than we expected. I wrote the hit counter myself so I know it filters out traffic from robots and (some) spam-bots. Who would have thought that anyone would be interested in people as ordinary as California Girl and I?
