Ask MCB/CG Day – 12
Today is ask MCB/CG day. We try and do this once a month for any new readers. Everyone is welcome to ask a question. We usually try to do this the third week of the month but last week was a busy one for us and we didn’t get to it. This is the thirteenth time that we have done this. The questions have been pretty interesting in the past. It’slate in the day but we usually don’t post our Two For Tuesday post until sometime on Wednesday anyway. Here are the rules for any new visitors. Feel free to ask us anything. You can ask a question in a comment or in the Shoutbox. We’ll respond in the comments or, if the answer is long, in a separate post. We will answer anything that is asked, usually before our next post. If you don’t read this when its first posted but still have a question, go ahead and ask it. There isn’t a cutoff date. So please leave us a question if you’ve got one.
Listening to the auido tracks of your video clips, I do not detect much/any verbal ‘pillow talk’? Do you engage in this ‘activity’ when not on camera?
Patrick: What you hear on the audio is a pretty accurate representation of what happens when we’re not on camera. There are background noises from us and the bed but typically not a lot of conversation. It’s hard to talk with your mouth full any way.
Guest_7162: We don’t talk to the kids too much about sex. They don’t seem to be interested in it and we don’t want to arouse their curiosity by bring it up and talking about it a lot. We don’t stick our heads in the sand either; we try to strike a balance.
Beautifully Human: We always wear our watches. I know that it’s kind of corny but we have always liked matching stuff. We don’t go overboard but we had his and hers watches for 17 or 18 years. The ones you see in the photographs are our second set which we got a few years ago. I know they are just things but the make us feel more connected with each other. I never take off my wedding ring either; even when I probably should.
Years ago, California Girl took off her watch before going to be but now she is so used to wearing her rings and watch that she would notice more if she took them off.
