Our Photographic Equipment
Several people had questions about our newdigital camera. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, we thought that we would post a picture of the camera itself in action. We usually mount it on a small tabletop tripod we have. This allows us to easily tilt the camera to the best picture taking position. The flip out viewfinder is very handy when taking self portraits. The infra red remote is quite useful as well. Of course, the best “equipment” for our photographs is California Girl. If you have a good model then everything else is much easier.

We bought our camera used from a friend of ours. He bought a newer one and we bought the “hand me down”. I’m not complaining because it’s much newer than our old camera but we didn’t get the remote with it. Either he’s lost it or doesn’t want to look for it. I sure would love to have that remote. I need to see about ordering a replacement.
You two are the greatest…definatly my favorite fellow bloggers.

Wenchy: Thank you. We’re glad that we bring a smile to your day.
D-Man: The remote is very handy. We had one with our old camera so it was affirm requirement that the new one have one as well. We’re actually using the remote to our old camera since they haven’t changed much over the yeas except going from standard to optional equipment.
HM: There’s always something better; especially the way that technology is improving these days. Hive good lighting and a good subject which you are is the biggest thing. Everything else is secondary.
The remote is very useful. If one works with your camera, I highly recommend it.
We’re glad that you like our blog. Blogging has been fun for us.
Just Me: If one is available, it’s a must have item if you plan to take a lot of self portraits. Some photographs are difficult or impossible to take without it.
HIM: The mini-tripod gets the camera up off the dresser and allows for some tilt /action. It’s been very useful for many of our photographs. In many ways, it’s better than a full-size tripod because it allows us to easily position the camera on furniture.
