HNT - 23
The theme for our HNT photo session was getting comfortable with our new bed. It arrived two weeks to the day that we broke the previous one during an HNT photo session “after party”. The bed, California Girl and I are all nekkid.
I like this shot, especially the big smile on California Girl’s face. I hope you guys a can see it.

I like snuggling with California Girl any time. She’s got a way of holding on to me that just make me feel so comfortable.

California girl and I really like these pictures. And not just because they include our latest toy. These photos probably would have been better as B&W but we’re just full color sort of people.

Southern Sweetheart: They make a BIG difference. The old one degraded so gradually that we did not notice until it was really bad. The difference is like night and day. I sure don’t remember such a difference between our first and our second. (Probably because the third cost as much as the first two put together.) I am really looking forward to the weekend when I can have a full nights sleep on it.
Addict: I am glad that you can see it. I hate pixilation but it is a necessary evil for us.
Stephanie: Thanks. We just like to have fun. HNT has been a blast.
MamaKBear: Every piece of furniture in our first apartment except the bed was a hand me down. Buy frankly, a hand me down might have been better. Despite being from Sears, the first bed only lasted three years or so. It is by far the most comfortable one we have ever had.
Wenchy: I like the second picture too even though you can’t se as much of California Girl.
Chickie: California Girl has a really nice smile. We both really enjoy participating in HNT
HIM: We don’t have plans for this weekend so we will have plenty of time to break it in.
S: Yes. Generally, I prefer electronics to furniture but a new bed is an exception.
J: Happy HNT to you.
Phoenixboi: California Girl and I are really enjoying the new bed. The kids are usually around through so we are usually relegated to the bedroom, especially through the week, so the bed gets more “use” than other furniture in the house. I had no idea how useful a new bed would be.
Susie: Thanks. We needed one ling ago but always had other priorities. (The Boy and The Girl.) I’m glad we finally broke down and spend money on something for ourselves. The new bed and frame should give us many years of service.

We got a Sealy last year, we decided to go from a Queen to a King with a pillow top, and we love it, more room for Gomer to ‘chase’ me around the bed! LOL! Enjoy!

You guys always look so happy together and really seem like you have a really great life. however, I have one comment…I’ve been reading your blog for a while and know that you have a great new “dream” house, which is great for you. My comment is this….you need some color in that bedroom! White walls and a flowered quilt–it looks like a dorm room! You guys need to spice it up a little! Do you have any other furniture in your bedroom? My hubby and I have a red bedroom (it is very small only 10 x 11) and with the right lighting the room just glows. If you don’t like too much color, add texture, like a satin bed cover, or even some flannel sheets…get a decorating book or just buy a Real Simple magazine, it always has great ideas. At bed bath & beyond, they have those “bed in a bags” that are really great, I bought one and then decided on the paint color for our bedroom & it looks terrific. If you want, I can e-mail you pics. I’m not trying to be critical, but just critical-friendly-helpful. Thanks for a great site and keep on posting!

Kelly: We were really happy to finally get a something nice and new. It’s been a long time coming. We focus so much on the kids, it’s good to treat ourselves.
Melanie: Very comfortable. Looking forward to spending an extended period of time in it over the weekend.
Txsm: Ours is a Sealy too. But we have a full size. We considered getting a queen size but like the closeness of a smaller bed. We love it and California Girl is easy to catch.
Marie: I’d have to agree with you, our bedroom is very Spartan. We do at some point want to paint but we’re not sure what a good color would be. I would kind of like to see the pictures of your bedroom. It might give us some ideas. California Girl, who is the decorator of the two of is, is not quire sure what else she would do to decorate the bedroom. And don’t worry about being critical. We expect comments.
Alwaysarousedgirl: Now that we’ve got a new one it is kind of funny now that we think back about it. The new one is “sturdy” so I don’t think we’ll have any problems in the near future.

Congratulations on your new bed. There’s nothing like a little change of furniture in the boudoir to keep your mind focused on what you are supposed to be doing on the furniture in the boudoir!
We really like your blog and look forward to you sharing more of yourselves with all of us.

Awesome looking bed there, you guys. It should be a frosty day in hell now before you two go breaking this one (evil grin)

Sanyu: I think that we had become too accustomed to the old bed. I would never have thought that a new one would be so revitalizing. (In more ways than one.) Having firmer support for sex is great. I didn’t know how much we missed it since we lost it gradually but now that it is back, I don’t know how we managed.
Glad you like our blog. California Girl and I enjoy sharing.
Rob: I know that this is going to sound strange but I don’t think that beds are made for sex. All of ours have died relatively quickly as beds go. Although we kept the last one for a long time, it needed replacing years ago. Unfortunately, the store that sold it to us went out of business so the warranty was worthless. I’ve got high hopes that this one will last longer but I doubt that it last its rated period.
