Almost Finished
I am almost finished installing/customizing a new template. This is my first template change in almost eight months. I like this layout better because it gives more space for photographs and allows more room for posts generally.
Please let me know what you think of the new look. And please leave me a comment (or send me an e-mail) if you find anything that is broken or doesn’t seem quite right.
And yes, it really is 4:00 A.M. I don’t like going to bed when I have to go back to work after being on vacation.

Things look just fine, no problems. Nice to see the cityscape header remained

Same sentiments from me as from the others. I love the new layout — and yes, it is definitely easier to read.
As for the 4 am thing — I was up late doing this sort of thing the other night too. I HATE going to bed early!

Chickie: Thank you for the feedback. I liked the colors in the previous template but I wanted to make something that wasn’t so crowded in the center of the screen.
Kelly: I just don’t sleep as much as I really need to. Often times I have other things to do earlier in the evening. So I just stay up later. I’ve been in the habit for years. I know it’s not the best thing but it does give me more time in the day.
Rosie: The cityscape is the one permanent fixture of any template we have. California Girl and I both like it. It’s one of the things that make our blog ours. With the new layout, we made the picture just a bit bigger.
Ed: Thanks. I don’t know if I’ll keep this one for as long as the last one but, once I’m finished, I don’t plan on changing it anytime soon.
HIM: The new look turned out better than I had hoped. I wanted something that used more of the screen. The added readability is a bonus.
Thanksgiving was good but I’m already ready counting the days until Christmas.

MamaKBear: Thank you. We’ve had the same template since April which is an eternity by blog template standards. There are a lot of templates around but it’s hard to find one that matches the cityscape header.
Femi-mommy: Yeah. This site is not “work friendly”. I hope you like what you see when you take a closer look. I’m not nearly as creative as you are so things like this are hard for me.
MrManicDepressive: It’s mostly done. I still need to change the fonts and fix some small things but the basics are complete. And even though the principal colors are the same as the previous one it is easier to read.
Southern Sweetheart: Thanks. I’m glad that you like it. I’m not very creative. So updating a template is a major big deal. I really appreciate yours and everyone else’s comments. It makes all the hard work seem worth it.
So far as staying up late goes, I have always “burned the candle at both ends”. I always feel like I’m not accomplishing as much as I should if I go to bed early.
