The Last Free Day
Today was the last “free” day before the kids go back to school. Free is relative since The Girl had multiple evening activities and we didn’t get home until almost 10:00 P.M.
Summer is definitely over. There was a chill in the air after the sun went down. I found my self wishing I had brought a jacket or sweatshirt as I sat out in the stands.
The Girl has a soccer tournament this coming weekend so we will be busy once again. I’m not sure when the next chance for California Girl and I to get into the pool will happen. The pool will be open for another seven weeks or so but the opportunities to enjoy it will not be nearly as frequent as before.
The summer sex schedule is over as well. Now we have to wake up very early or restrict our encounters to the evening hours. Hopefully we will be able to keep the spirit of the summer alive amid the rush of school days.

WM: I was droopy this morning even though I got a good night’s sleep. I think looking at all of the days that I have to get up subconsciously made me tired. The first day of school is at the bottom of the mountain.
Kelly: We have a four day weekend planned for Labor Day. We are hoping for some good whether so we can re-live the summer one last time.
