I Don’t Want Summer To End
The weekend is almost here, which is a good thing, but that also means another week closer to the end of summer. I can count on my fingers the remaining number of opportunities for morning sex. It’s been a great summer but it’s also been much too short. Now, as we make preparation for the children to go back to school, the “feeling” of it being summertime is almost over. And we just got the scheduling reminder in the mail for closing our pool for the winter. We will play hard for the next couple of weeks but the end of these glorious days is just around the corner. And before they are over, we have to figure out how/when/where we are going to have sex when we have to abandon our morning schedule.

Ok, help me here — you “got the scheduling reminder in the mail for closing our pool for the winter” — who is reminding you to close your pool and what business of it is to them? I’m confused.
I hate to see summer come to an end too but since I live in the south it will be around a good many more weeks!
I’m sorry you’re dreading the end of ‘summer.’ And I know what you mean. Well, just make the most of it while you can.
WM: The scheduling reminder is from a pool service company. We decided to have them close the pool for us every year because it’s such a depressing chore, we don’t want to do it ourselves.
Rosie: Thanks. We’ll do our best!
WM: For us, summer is over when the kids go back to school. Once that happens then we don’t have much free time. That is also one of the reasons why we have someone else close our pool. There isn’t enough daylight to do it when I get home so it would have to be a weekend task. And our weekends are super busy. So on the rare occasions that we don’t have anything we have to do working on the pool is not our first choice.
