Intermittent Dry Spells
California Girl and I haven’t been able to get together as much as we have liked to over the past week or so. The week started out O.K. but I had to be up and out early on Wednesday, I had an early morning meeting on Friday which also required leaving early, and today, the children had some early morning activities so “Saturday Morning” will actually not happen until Saturday afternoon. We’ve only got about three weeks or so on our summer schedule then it’s back to school and waking up much earlier. I think the fact we both know that summer is winding down is making the missed opportunities over the past week seem more significant. It’s not like our parts fall off during the winter; the logistics just get much more difficult.
I’m going to go shave and get ready to give California Girl a “ride” when she returns. And of we’re not to busy jumping each others bones, I’m going to take some photographs. We have taken any in a couple of weeks.

Rosie: We did get together after California Girl got home but I was too busy enjoying an empty house to post about it. Let’s just say that a god time was had by all.
