A Welcome Surprise

Saturday, July 30th, 2005 | General | By: Midwestern City Boy

Wonder of wonders; The Boy decided to spend the night at his grandmother’s with his sister. So California Girl and I have the house all to ourselves tonight for the first time in ages. It was most unexpected but a welcome surprise.

I don’t know what were going to do yet but I’m sure that we’ll think of something. ;-)

Not exactly a moonless night, but not much moon, I think. Stick your head out the door and double check. But the temp is not really hot. Oh well.

Rosie: It was too cold to get in the pool. Maybe next time. But we had fun indoors.

WM: I took a few picks and posted about our kidless Sunday.

TOW: We don’t get enough days without any kids. Usually they’re too busy with their activities or in the case of our son, too tired. I will say that watching Sunday afternoon football is a completely different experience when we’re home alone. Most of the time we don’t even know the score. We’re probably half the reason the frame is broken on our couch.
