20,000 Visitors
Married In Ohio went over 20,000 visitors sometime yesterday! We did not expect half that many in a year much less in three months. Thanks for stopping by. We’re glad you find us interesting. Special thanks to the bloggers who link to us. We’re sure most of the traffic comes from your blogs. And please comment if you are a lurker. We blog for ourselves but it’s always interesting to find out what others think.

SK: There is sex but there’s life here too. Probably because life is sex and some other things. I’m happy if they’re not dead and floating in the swimming pool. 
My favorite post recently was “It Was A Glorious Day In Ohio” from last weekend. It has sex but other things too. That’s the character we want for the blog.

Doogooder: No reward. Just our thanks. California Girl and I are surprised by the popularity of the site; especially since we didn’t do anything to generate traffic.
Lisa: That was actually the whole motivation for starting the blog. Most of the sites I read by married guys were less than positive about their wives. We’ve been together for 22 years and I still think California Girl is an awesome woman.

Sandy: Thanks for saying hello. We do love each other. And still have fun. It hasn’t always been easy but it’s definitely been very worthwhile. California Girl is a wonderful woman to be married to. She’s always up for anything. Even now I am pleasantly surprised by some of the things she says does.
Brandy: Thanks for introducing yourself. I’m glad that you enjoy our blog. It’s easy to be devoted to California Girl since she is the finest woman I’ve ever met. We probably act like teenagers too much but we enjoy each other’s company. We’re best friends and husband and wife so we get the best of both worlds.
Rosie: I wrote the usage counter myself. I know that there are such things available on the web for free but I like to tinker. I suppose I could change the words or not say anything at all but you have to keep track whether someone has visited or not so you know whether or not to increment the counter. If you had your own blog you could use blogrolling to let you know. (You’ve probably seen powered by blogrolling on some sites) I used it but for a few months but it was always broke and didn’t accurately say weather or not a blog was updated so I quit. It may be fixed now. New comments are harder. There’s a WordPress add-on that lets you subscribe to comments but nothing for blogspot or Haloscan comments that I’m aware of.
Kelly: I had not really thought of it that way. Maybe I should go get buffed up. We have been taking pictures of ourselves since the days of polaroids but posting/uploading is new. The thing I find the most interesting is what people noticed about our pictures. For example Chickie noticed that we always wear our watches. I’ve always liked that we match even though it’s very subtle. I’m glad that you enjoy way we have to say/show. The love we have for each other is great, but it’s random chance that we met. Some days we wonder what our lives would be like if I hadn’t “popped out of a Mr. Do! Machine” as California Girl puts it.
