A Better Day than Yesterday
One of my teammates found my softball glove. Now that it’s been retrieved, today is going a lot better than yesterday. I guess I shouldn’t have been in such a hurry to leave. Note to self. If you give your gear bag to your son and decide to carry everything loose, stuff like this is only going to happen again.
Now if I could only get out of the ticket. I’m not even going to call and find out how much it is right now.
Update: I stopped on my way home and paid the ticket. $90 straight into the city coffers. I tried calling but the phone rang for about 20 and no one ever picked up. There’s a lesson in this somewhere for me, I just can figure what it is.
I was going to buy a new gear bag but didn’t feel like spending any more money.
So glad to hear you got your glove back!! My oldest is left handed and has 2 special gloves (she catches too) and it’s a PITA to find new Left handed gloves.

Yeah about the glove! See your week is turning around..and right around the cornter is the weekend! And we all know how you spend your weekends (and it motivates us to be the same!)

QOP: Around her you almost never see left handed ladies equipment. You can get left handed youth or men’s gloves but of you want a left handed women’s 11.5-inch outfielders’ glove, you are SOL. I never looked closely for the differences but my daughter has a definite preference for women’s gloves over similar men’s models.
I usually don’t mind being left handed. It’s just darn inconvenient sometimes. There’s very little that you have to see in person these days but a glove is one of them. Almost everything can be purchased on the internet these days but a ball glove is not one of them. I would have still had my infielder’s glove but it way to small to be useful for running things down in the outfield.
Kelly: The day was much better. I didn’t like paying the ticket but the company I work for still pays me. Years ago, I would have still been steamed and kicking myself. Now I’m not stressed at all. I still burn the candle at both ends. I just don’t let as much stress me out.
