A Four Day Weekend Ahead
After 21 straight weeks of working, I am finally taking the day off on Friday. I still have to get up and take the children to school but afterwards I am going to go home and get back into bed with California Girl. She is taking the day off as well so we’ll have the house to ourselves for about 7 hours. I should probably cut the grass but I’m not going to. In fact, I don’t have anything planned. We’ll probably do something on Saturday night but I am relishing the thought of not having to be any place at particular time. I may see if California Girl wants to do one or two things of the items on The Todo Llist. The kids will be home for part of the weekend so they’ll have to be things that can be done elsewhere.
The kids have been busy with end of school year activities so California Girl and I have not been able to spend as much time together as we would like. We might: play a computer game; go for a walk; stay in bed all day; go shopping; go to a club; or go out to eat. Whatever we do, we’ll do it together.
