Ready For the Weekend

Just got back with the boy from his band concert. They got a top rating. The band director was happy which is rare for him. Its raining (again) so it looks like the girl’s soccer game on Saturday morning will be postponed. I don’t like weekend rainouts since they are usually rescheduled during the week which makes for some later weekday nights, but I’m looking forward to another relaxing day Saturday morning with California Girl. She’s already gone to bed tonight but I plan to do my best to wake her up. It’s hot and stuffy under the covers but I’m not coming up for air until she comes. This week has been less than stellar but, starting 5 minutes from now, the weekend is shaping up like it will more than make up for it.

Have a fantastic weekend guys! It’s nice and rainy here, perfect for lazing in bed. Although the kids keep joining in, so not as much fun as could be had!
