Why I Don’t Post Very Often

Tuesday, April 26th, 2005 | Her | By: California Girl

I still haven’t quite figured out why I don’t seem to be as interested in blogging as Midwestern City Boy, although my job involves writing and I also enjoy writing fiction as a hobby. It’s not just because a blog is in the first person perspective; many of my stories have been in the first person, and I don’t have any problem with describing a fictional character’s perspective.

Writing about myself just seems weird, for reasons unknown.

I used to keep a ridiculously melodramatic diary when I was a teenager, but I got out of that habit long ago, mainly because the entries looked much too silly when I went back and read them later. I guess I’ve become more self-conscious with age.

Midwestern City Boy does not have this problem, obviously.

You probably don’t write for the same reason I don’t do homework with my kids…and I’m a teacher!!

When it’s something that you do all day, who in the hell wants to do it for fun??

But we still love ya, and love to read of yours and MCB’s escapades!!

You are a cute, sweet, couple. Welcome!!

I think it’s very freeing to write about your life. I enjoy reading about all different people on the blogs. You guys are definately no exception and you keep things, um interesting ;)

Write when you feel like it but we do enjoy hearing about you!

I feel that Ed does a far better job than me anyway so there is no real need. I do chip in now and again - and sometimes he askes me to.

As long as you are happy with the situation then thats fine - its your blog after all
