It Snowed in April

Sunday, April 24th, 2005 | General, Photos | By: Midwestern City Boy

It’s Sunday, April 24, 2005 and snowed today! Although that may not seem unusual if you live in a more northern climate, it’s very unusual for here. We went from ferocious spring thunderstorms on Friday, to a cold wet raw Saturday, to a light dusting of snow on this morning (Sunday). Yesterday, I was working on our pool wearing gloves and a down jacket. It’s all cleaned up and ready to go once the weather cooperates. We’re so disgusted with the weather we’re going to the gym and work out even though we usually just go outside in temperatures (34 degrees with a wind-chill of 22) such as these.

Snow surrounding the swimming pool

California Girl and I spent most the weekend inside since the weather was bad. We had lots of sex and took lots of photographs. In addition to the “then and now” series that I was thinking about Friday, we also took quite a few other good pictures with various themes. We are off to the gym. When we return, I will start working on the R-rated pictorial posts.

It was weird to get up this morning and see the snow. I’m just glad I’ve done so much yard work these last two weeks. Most of the mulch is down. Think I came to your blog by way of Ed and Sue. You’ve seen me there.

Rosie: thanks for reading. I hope that our life and times is interesting enough to keep you coming back. We’re behind on our yard work. I only just cut the grass for the first time last week and was planning on cutting it again this weekend.

BCD: Last weekend I was cutting the grass in shorts. Yesterday I was cleaning out the swimming pool in gloves and a down jacket. This is strange weather even by Ohio standards.
