A Free Weekend
Its looks like both of the kids will be out of the house this weekend for the first time in long time. I really like it when California Girl and I get the run of the house. There is something exciting about not being restricted to the master bedroom. It’s not that we have sex all over the house, although we have been known to do that. It’s just easier to be uninhibited when the children aren’t down the hall. I’ve got some really good photographs of California Girl sitting by the Christmas tree in her sheer Santa Claus night gown that are definitely not suitable for the family photo album. Afterward, I laid a quilt on the floor and we made love in front of the fireplace. It was an unforgettable morning. Especially since we have time-lapse photos of it in our private photo album. Digital cameras are a wonderful thing. It’s just good to be husband and wife instead of Mom and Dad.
I still remember once a few years ago when we were unexpectedly without the kids. They were visiting their grandmother who decided to keep them overnight. I was at a friend’s 30th birthday party when California Girl called and let me know that the kids would not be coming that evening as previously planned. I hung around for a short time then bid farewell to the hosts and departed it for home. When I got there California Girl was only wearing a nightgown and her diaphragm. Needless to say, I ate a lot of Gynol II that night (among other things).
It’s not always en event every time we are alone in the house. Sometimes we just lounge around and do nothing special. It’s reminiscent of our college days when we used to freely intermingle sex with our other activities. Some days we would not get dressed until dinner time. It’s rare that we have that freedom now but it’s great when we do. I don’t know if this coming weekend will be one of those but I do know that I’m going to spend it with California Girl.
