Despite our recent travails, we never lost our mojo in the bedroom. In fact, things might have gone better if we never got out of bed. Anyway, here is a candid shot from our last photo session. Like our most recent Two For Tuesday photograph, it’s NSFW but not X-rather either. We thought that it was an interesting perspective even though the “action” is different from what we usually post. We always seem to like pictures that aren’t quite as graphic the best.

After months of cold, dreary winter days the sun has finally come out and melted all of the snow. It’s amazing what a little sun can do for our mood. We were very frisky during our Tuesday photo shoot. It would have been nice to be outside; but it was still soggy from all of the melting snow and California Girl was still on her period. So, our photo session wasn’t as imaginative as the sex that followed. We like this photo since, technically, it isn’t explicit although the concept is still X-rated. Do you like this style or do you prefer more graphic photos?

We seem to be getting our mojo back. It’s Tuesday evening and nothing we own has broken since last week. Plus, The Boy is home for spring break. It was a long drive to retrieve him and he’s only home for a week; but things always seem better when everything around the house is normal. We know that three people and very soon just the two of us is “normal”; but we really enjoy it when both of the kids are home. Somehow, it makes the problems that we experienced last week farther away.
We’ve had our weekly photo session; but we plan on eating pizza with the kids and enjoying that “just like old times” mood so we won’t be publishing our Two For Tuesday post until Wednesday. As The Boy was saying earlier today “spring break is already almost half over”.

There is a saying that “Bad things come in three’s.” We’ve never accepted such things as true; but, believe it or not, we had a third unexpected major expense last week. We were hoping for a change of luck after the events discussed in our Raining In February and The Rain Continues posts. Unfortunately, we needed spend money from our emergency fund once again. We can’t afford another emergency anytime soon. We’ll need a lot of sunny days to replenish our rainy day fund which doesn’t look likely in the current economy.
Thankfully, we’ve already paid for most of The Girl’s senior year expenses. She’s done her senor portraits. We purchased her graduation announcements. And she’s got her prom dress. The only thing we “need” to buy for her is a graduation present. The Boy didn’t buy that many things over the summer in preparation for college. She’ll probably want/need more than he did but that can be managed.
The sun finally started co come out on Thursday and the five day forecast calls for much warmer temperatures. Hopefully that is a sign of better days.

If you look closely at California Girl’s back, you can still see the outline of her bikini. It’s very faint; but it’s there. It’s been a long winter for us so anything that reminds us of summer is good; especially since it’s been so dreary both literally and figuratively. Our bad luck stubbornly refuses to go away so we’ll just leave you with this picture.
